Iron Man VR Live Gameplay Demo Shows Life as a Real Avenger Ahead of July 3 Launch

While lockdown boredom is something that might be getting to you of late, Sony appears to have come up with a solution, and a rather prolific one at that. Sony’s official PlayStation Blog states that Iron Man VR, the much awaited virtual reality game from Marvel that will have you step into the metal shoes of the charismatic Tony Stark, will be released on July 3, alongside Sony’s latest PlayStation VR bundle. The launch will bring a bundle that includes a copy of the Iron Man VR full game, a PlayStation VR headset, a PlayStation camera, two PlayStation Move motion controllers, and a VR demo disc to get you started with how to set up your virtual reality gaming arena.

However, if the July 3 release date still feels too far away, and you have a PlayStation VR setup waiting at home, you can get your hands on an early demo copy of the game, already. Through the demo, you will don Iron Man’s signature armour to fly and pummel your way through a ‘Malibu’ tutorial mission, flight and advanced combat optional mission challenges, a Stark Jet gameplay mission called ‘Out of the Blue’, and an interactive Stark Jet cinematic section, which would feature Friday, Pepper Potts and you in the starring role of Tony Stark. While the demo may seem limited, Sony states that “by the end of the ‘Out of the Blue’ mission, you’ll start to feel like Iron Man as you fly, shoot, and Rocket Punch through some of Tony’s Ghost-hacked, Stark Tech drone problems.”

If you wouldn’t be as lucky as to have a PlayStation 4 generation console and a VR bundle lying around at home, you’re likely among the majority of us. In this case, what you can do is tune in to this 15-minute live gameplay demonstration of how it would feel like to fly around the world like Iron Man. The demo looks encouraging as a virtual reality game, and may just be the big crowd puller for Sony’s VR gaming platform under its PlayStation umbrella.

However, interested parties in India will be left disappointed for now, since the list of countries where Iron Man VR bundle will launch includes US, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Republica Dominicana. The VR gaming bundle is priced at $350 (~Rs 26,600). That said, existing owners of Sony PS VR in India will be able to download Iron Man VR directly from the PlayStation Store.,Man,VR,Live,Gameplay,Demo,Shows,Life,as,a,Real,Avenger,Ahead,of,July,3,Launch,iron,man,vr,iron,man,vr,360,&publish_min=2020-05-23T05:51:33.000Z&publish_max=2020-05-25T05:51:33.000Z&sort_by=date-relevance&order_by=0&limit=2

MIUI 12 Launch by Xiaomi at 5:30PM Today: Key Features and How to Watch Live

MIUI 12 Launch by Xiaomi at 5:30PM Today: Key Features and How to Watch Live

Xiaomi has already tested MIUI 12 among testers in India, and it remains to be seen if the custom Android interface features any India specific touches.

  • Last Updated: May 19, 2020, 10:55 AM IST

Xiaomi MIUI 12 is set to be launched officially today, after making its first official appearance last month. Having been under pilot testing for some time, MIUI 12 is now ready for prime time action among the legions of Xiaomi users in India. The latest version of Xiaomi’s custom Android interface comes with a number of improvements, as well as new features to aid difficulties in usage. The live action from Xiaomi’s official unveiling of the global MIUI 12 ROM can be caught online later today, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

Live stream

The Xiaomi MIUI 12 global ROM launch will be held via an online live stream later today, at 8PM Beijing Time. Indian users can catch the launch live by accessing the YouTube live stream on Xiaomi’s official channel. In India, the live stream will begin at 5:30PM IST. The live stream of the MIUI 12 unveil will also take place on Xiaomi’s official social media handles, and interested parties can catch it live on the company’s Facebook and Twitter accounts as well.

Expected new features

Among the highlights of MIUI 12 are three main features — Dark Mode 2.0, AI calling and live transcript, and a security feature called ‘barbed wire’. With Dark Mode 2.0, Xiaomi is introducing an always-on display for its phones for possibly the first time, bringing it up to speed with various implementations of always-on displays by the likes of OnePlus, Samsung and others. It will be interesting to see how Xiaomi’s take on the always-on display differs from its competitors.

The second major new feature are enhanced privacy features, where reports suggest that Xiaomi is taking a randomised virtual ID approach towards installed apps. This will seemingly protect users from directly sharing their email addresses. Simultaneously, MIUI 12 will reportedly maintain logs of app data requests and data accesses on phones, in a bid to reinstate user faith in the company’s data privacy practices. This will be particularly important to observe, since Xiaomi has recently faced considerable backlash over roguish data collection practices through its browser apps.

The other security feature is called ‘barbed wire’, and is Xiaomi’s implementation of the limited app permission access feature on Android. This will allow users to let an app access a particular permission for only a limited period of time, therefore limiting which app can misuse user data.

Other features aboard MIUI 12 will include a new AI calling feature, which will live transcribe incoming calls and offer preset responses as answers. The feature may prove to be particularly important for users with hearing disabilities. The full list of features, including any India-specific new features (if any), will be revealed in a few hours. To view it live, tune in to the live stream above.,12,Launch,by,Xiaomi,at,5:30PM,Today:,Key,Features,and,How,to,Watch,Live,miui,12,miui,12,details,&publish_min=2020-05-21T03:32:02.000Z&publish_max=2020-05-23T03:32:02.000Z&sort_by=date-relevance&order_by=0&limit=2

The South Korean septet has now announced that an “un-tact” (no-contact) concert, “Bang Bang Con the Live,” will be livestreamed at 5 am EST on June 14

Last month, the South Korean superstars were forced to suspend their “Map of the Soul” world tour over coronavirus concerns. “Due to the nature of BTS concerts, involving travel by thousands of international fans no matter where the performances are held, it is also difficult to resume the tour with the current strict restrictions on cross-border movement still in place,” BTS’s management, Big Hit Entertainment, said in a statement.

The South Korean septet has now announced that an “un-tact” (no-contact) concert, “Bang Bang Con the Live,” will be livestreamed at 5 am EST on June 14. The concert will run for approximately 90 minutes, during which RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook will perform for their fan army in a single room.

Details about the paid-to-watch experience are still scarce at this point, although BTS will update fans on the concert via their Weverse app in the coming weeks. The announcement arrived a few weeks after the seven-piece South Korean group streamed a marathon of full-length concerts and fan meetings recorded over the past six years.

It is claimed the online event, dubbed “BANG BANG CON,” amassed 50.6 million views in total and 2.24 million concurrent viewers, Variety reports. Jungkook and his bandmates are also set to appear in YouTube’s virtual graduation ceremony, “Dear Class Of 2020,” during which musicians and thought leaders will commemorate graduating seniors in a series of commencement speeches.

The multi-hour event, headlined by former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, will premiere on Saturday, June 6 on the YouTube Originals channel and YouTube’s Learn@Home site. “Graduation is a tradition that students and families look forward to and with the current state of the world, YouTube is lending some inspiration in the form of a virtual commencement,” Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Content for YouTube, said in a statement.

“We hope bringing together noteworthy, influential speakers along with performances from some of their favourite artists will provide encouragement for the students who have worked so hard to get here.”’,Next,Live,Concert,,Which,Typically,Attracts,Thousands,,Will,Now,be,Held,Online,Bang,Bang,Con,barack,obama,&publish_min=2020-05-19T20:28:11.000Z&publish_max=2020-05-21T20:28:11.000Z&sort_by=date-relevance&order_by=0&limit=2

Realme Narzo 10, Narzo 10A to Launch Today: Here’s How to Watch Live Stream

After multiple delays, Realme is finally going to launch its new budget centric smartphone series, Narzo. Targeted at the younger audience, the series was expected to launch in March but was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown. The Realme Narzo 10 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme 6i that launched in Myanmar earlier this year, while the Realme Narzo 10A is expected to be a rebranded version of the Realme C3.

The two handsets will be launched at an online event that is scheduled for 12.30 PM IST. The event will be streamed on the company’s official YouTube and other social media channels. You can also check out the stream that we have embedded below:

It is being speculated that the Realme Narzo 10 will be a rebranded version of the Realme 6i that launched in Myanmar earlier this year. So we can expect a MediaTek Helio G80 processor featuring two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It will also come with a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a quad-camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel primary sensor.

As for the front camera, it will be a 16-megapixel sensor placed inside a waterdrop notch. The handset is also going to feature a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The Narzo 10 is also said to include up to 128GB of onboard storage, a microSD card slot (up to 256GB), USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It should arrive with Android 10 out of the box with Realme UI on top.

The Realme Narzo 10A is expected to include a MediaTek Helio G70 processor and a 6.5-inch HD+ display. This one will have a triple camera with a 12-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the back. This one will also come with Android 10 out-of-the-box with Realme UI on top.

While there is no confirmation from Realme, it is speculated that the Narzo 10 will be priced under Rs 15,000. As mentioned before, the Nazro 10 could be a rebranded version of Realme 6i that retails at MMK 249,900 (Rs 13,000 approx) for the base 3GB + 64GB storage variant. There is also a 4GB + 128GB storage variant which is priced at MMK 299,900 (Rs 16,000 approx) in Myanmar.

The Realme Narzo 10A is being called as a rebranded version of the Realme C3 which has already launched in Thailand. If that holds true, it could launch at a similar price which is THB 3,999 (Rs 9,000 approx) for the 3GB + 32GB variant.,Narzo,10,,Narzo,10A,to,Launch,Today:,Here’s,How,to,Watch,Live,Stream,mediatek,helio,g70,realme,&publish_min=2020-05-18T01:54:39.000Z&publish_max=2020-05-20T01:54:39.000Z&sort_by=date-relevance&order_by=0&limit=2

In Google’s stay and play at home doodle series, users can play with a memorable video game character, Pac Man. The doodle was first released in 2010 to mark the 30th anniversary of the character’s birthday. It was also the “playable Google doodle”.

The nostalgic doodle will stay alive for 48 hours, instead of just one day. So people looking forward to reliving the good old days or meet the “pizza-shaped character” that gobbles up dots in a maze for the first time, go to Google Search on any device and click on the doodle.

Users will be redirected to another page of ‘popular Google Doodle games’ where one can play Pac Man by clicking on the ‘insert coin’ button.

“Google doodler Ryan Germick and I made sure to include PAC-MAN’s original game logic, graphics and sounds, bring back ghosts’ individual personalities, and even recreate original bugs from this 1980’s masterpiece,” wrote Marcin Wichary, senior UX designer and developer.

He also said that there was an Easter egg in the doodle. “If you throw in another coin, Ms. PAC MAN joins the party and you can play together with someone else”.

While PAC MAN is controlled using the arrow keys on keyboard or by clicking on the maze; Ms. PAC MAN can be controlled with the WASD keys.

Google has tried to retain the game’s original logic, graphics and sound that was a part of the game in 1980. The colourful ghosts have also been recreated to pay tribute to Toru Iwatani’s masterpiece.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 Goes Live on Android and iOS: New Maps, Game Modes and More

Call of Duty: Mobile on Thursday received a new update that brings the new Season 6 titled ‘Once Upon a Time in Rust’. The update with version 1.0.12 is live on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. It brings new maps, game modes, and Battle Pass content, along with additional changes, the company said in a statement.

The update is about 1.84GB in size on Android. On its official Reddit page, the developer has mentioned that the update will be rolled out in phases. Rust is a new map introduced in Season 6 but it was first seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Another new addition to the game is the new 1v1 Duel Mode which also comes with a brand new map called Saloon that will be available in mid-May.

The company has introduced Capture the Flag – Gold Edition. In this mode, players will not need to capture the flag, but a bountiful chest of gold. Another mode is ‘Kill Confirmed’. In this mode, one has to take out enemies in a team vs team except when an enemy is downed they drop a dog tag. There are several other changes including a new Event System, a Monthly Calendar, a Battle Royale Class called Poltergeist, and more.

Redmi Note 9 to Launch Today: Here’s How to Watch Live Stream

The Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Note 9 Pro Max were launched in India last month but there was no news around the Note 9. Well, Xiaomi is now finally launching the Redmi Note 9 globally via an online event. The company usually announces devices separately for China and other parts of the globe, but it seems that due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, it is going for a global launch event. Reports also say that Xiaomi will also announce the Mi Note 10 Lite, a more toned-down version of the Mi Note 10.

The launch event is scheduled to begin at 8PM UTC (5.30 PM IST). The announcements will be live-streamed on Xiaomi’s YouTube and other social accounts. Apart from the Note 9, the event might also include the announcement of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max for global markets apart from India and China.

You can catch all the announcements via the live stream embedded below:

Redmi Note 9

The Redmi Note 9 is naturally going to be a toned-down version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. Leaks suggest that the handset will come with a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) display. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with up to 4GB RAM. We are expecting that the Indian version will come with a Snapdragon processor.

The camera is said to include a 48-megapixel main sensor while the battery could be similar to the Note 9 Pro series rated at 5,020mAh. As usual, it will run on the company’s MIUI 11 ROM based on Android 10. There is also a rumour that the Redmi Note 9 will launch in China as the Redmi 10X with pricing starting at CNY 1,499 (Rs 16,000 approx).

Mi Note 10 Lite

The Mi Note 10 Lite is also expected to make an appearance at today’s event. The phone is going to be a more affordable version of the Mi Note 10. It will have a vertical quad-camera setup at the back and a waterdrop-style notch display. The quad-camera setup is likely to include a high-resolution camera, a wide-angle camera, a depth sensor, and a telephoto camera. The phone is expected to come with a Snapdragon 730G SoC, and a 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will be offered in Black, White, and Blue colour options.

There is no confirmation whether the Mi Note 10 Lite will be launched in India or not.

PUBG Mobile Arctic Mode Goes Live: Everything You Need to Know

PUBG Mobile continues to bring new features for its fans and this time there is a new addition to PlayLab. The new Arctic Mode is finally here after we first saw it in beta back in February. It seems unusual to bring such a mode considering it is already spring season. I guess Tencent is taking inspiration from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the whole survival and stay indoors theme seriously.

The new mode is set on the icy map of Vikendi. Apart from the regular battle royale mode, there’s a new survival twist. Players need to keep a constant eye on their body temperature which will be denoted at the bottom. A timer near the map denotes the oncoming extreme cold wave. Players need to stay indoors in order to survive the cold weather and maintain their body temperature. As the body temperature drops, players will start losing health. Players need to collect branches, warm packs and heaters to stay warm. With that, players can also hunt chickens in the wild and roast them on the fire for extra warmth.

To help players survive the extreme cold weather, there is the addition of drones. Players can use these to search for items while staying indoors and protected from the cold wave. The drones can also be used to search enemies and hunt them down swiftly. These drones come with limited battery life and health, so you need to keep an eye on that as well. The new mode is also adding the ability to use skis, which was first seen during the limited period Winter Mode on Erangel. These can help players in moving around the map faster especially during the cold wave.

The Arctic Mode, as mentioned above, is available under the PlayLab section. This means that it is a separate mode and the results will not be counted under the classic mode. Tell us what you think about the new addition to PUBG Mobile and what more would you like from the game.
